Patrick was born in Switzerland. During his university studies, and later when he worked in finance, he always in parallel developed his artistic mindset. From humble beginnings as an animator for children in summer camps helping to shoot short videos, he gradually moved into production, filming, and editing a promotional documentary for an NGO in Cambodia, and producing news and short cultural pieces in Europe (Switzerland, France, and Italy).
Fully committing to the art of visual storytelling, Patrick moved to New York in 2005, where he directed and filmed a 13-episode program series focused on exploring Manhattan’s rich neighborhoods and a five-episode food program showcasing celebrity chefs. Having the drive to explore the world again, he started working for a travel program. After settling back in New York, he diversified his repertoire further, into music videos, branded content, and short films.
He embraces both his creativity and his analytical, systematic mind, and feels both are essential to craft meaningful stories in a timely manner.
Practicing the meditation of Falun Dafa gives him the ability to see the world in a positive way, and makes him more relaxed and focused.
He also spends some of his free time opposing the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Patrick’s approach to life is to try to bring the best out of it, to see the beauty that surrounds places and people and to share it. He would love to work together with you to create something inspiring.
